Gianna Agostinelli (Ah-GUH-sti-NEH-lee) is a third-year student at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Arizona State University. Gianna is specializing in music and entertainment public relations and will receive a minor in digital audiences. She is set to graduate in winter of 2022.

Gianna currently works with a business client in the Public Relations Lab, a professional program offered by Cronkite in order to give real-world public relations experiences to students aspiring to grow and work professionally in the field of public relations. 

Gianna has completed multiple internships and leadership positions in the Phoenix area with real clients before stepping into the PR lab this spring semester. She managed social media marketing and completed public relations writing at the Herberger Theater Center in Downtown Phoenix for eight months while working closely with the marketing manager. 

Her second experience in public relations and social media marketing was with her Greek organization, Chi Omega, on the ASU campus for the 2021 year. She held the leadership position of Marketing Director to create content and post on social media platforms 3-5 times per week, designed apparel, managed traditional media, graphic design and operated a team of five. 

Within her time at Cronkite, Gianna has published multiple articles including a feature story with Scottsdale Independent News and has gotten experience in writing press releases, newsletters, public service announcements and has been able to keep up her passion for photography by advancing in multimedia practices. 

In addition to being a student, Gianna has an extensive arts background in music, theatre, photography and design. She keeps up her love for these practices through personal projects, extra courses through ASU and freelancing her services. She is beyond thrilled to be working for Phoenix Center for the Arts and share stories about creativity within the Phoenix community.
