We will explore where the religious community and the LGBTQ community are in inclusion and acceptance. This event is Sponsored by The Journey Spiritual Community AZ. World renowned speaker/leader Rev. Bishop Yvette Flunder will lead the discussion. Dr. Flunder is an American singer and senior pastor of the City of Refuge United Church of Christ in Oakland, California and Presiding Bishop of The Fellowship of Affirming Ministries. Bishop Yvette Flunder On December 1, 2014, was a keynote speaker in the White House for World AIDS Day, where she described the harmful effects of stigma and homophobia on those living with HIV and on AIDS education in general. She is a powerful speaker.
