Important Update: There will be a limited number of glass frit, stringers, and noodles available in the classroom. Students are responsible for purchasing their own sheet glass and bringing to class. *SW Art Glass on Thomas Rd sells sheet glass and other glass fusing supplies. Tell them you are a student at Phoenix Center For the Arts. Ask about student discount. If there are specific colors/sizes of frit, noodles, or stringers that you would like to use for your projects, please understand that they may not be available in the classroom. These may also be purchased at SW Art Glass or your other favorite glass supplier. As a reminder when purchasing sheet glass, stringers, powders, frits, noodles etc. in the studio we use 96 COE. Fusing Glass is sold in 96 COE and 90 COE. The two are NOT compatible. Make sure what you buy is the correct COE. If you choose to use 90 COE Bullseye Glass, firing results may vary, as our kiln firing schedules are set for 96 COE which soften and fuse at a lower temperature than 90 COE. You will also be responsible for keeping your 90 COE and 96 COE separated and identifiable.

Email will go out from instructor prior to first class with more details to help with your decision making on what materials to purchase.
