October 24th & 25th @7pm
Organization: Esteban Rosales
Reinterpreting depictions of female robots in Science Fiction films, ROBOTICA is an evening-length dance project confronting the influence of predatory masculinity over effeminate bodies. Tread through the testing facilities where the fembots dwell. Experience an array of lights, props, and sound design, developing the realms in which these vessels operate.
A dance project 2 years in the making, ROBOTICA premieres October 24 & 25 at Phoenix Center for the Arts.
