Rise Exhibitions are dedicated to the exhibition of work by Phoenix based fine artists who are on the rise at various levels of their career. These exhibits serve as an example of the beauty being created within the city of Phoenix, in addition to providing a glimpse into the future of Phoenix’s growing arts community.
Exhibits feature three to four artists on a rotating schedule every four months. The exhibition space of these shows consists of the hallways throughout the Phoenix Center for the Arts Performing Arts Building. Members of the public are welcome to view the works during regular business hours, or on First Friday and Third Friday after-hours events.
Rolling Submissions for Phoenix Center for the Arts Rise Gallery Exhibitions
Phoenix Center for the Arts showcases the work of local artists on a quarterly basis, beginning in August. Submissions are accepted throughout the year. Artists selected to exhibit receive a small stipend as well as a Third Friday opening reception hosted at the Center. Each artist has the entire hallway of the building floor to display work. Artists for each quarterly exhibition are selected quarterly by a jury of local artists and staff from the Center.
