Denise Fortson

With a career spanning four decades, Denise Fortson is a certified and accredited event designer and planner. She is the owner and managing director of Dreamcicle Events International, LLC, a renowned event management and design company. Her career is built on a foundation of creativity, which serves as the bedrock of her achievements.

Denise has earned credentials as an International Wedding & Event Planner, Certified & Accredited Event Designer, and Event Specialist from prestigious institutions, including the International Institute of Tourism Studies at George Washington University, Event Decorating Academy, The Institute of Wedding and Event Design and Johnson & Wales University. Her motto of transforming fairytale dreams into enchanted reality is fulfilled with each customer she
serves.

Upholding her motto, Denise has consistently provided expert advice to her clients and successfully planned and executed events throughout her career.

Through the Canvas of Courage program, Denise supports the veterans, along with her husband Brian, who is also a veteran, in their mission to provide a creative space for them to heal, connect and express themselves via art therapy. As a program supporter, she leverages her expertise to help facilitate organizational relationship building, drive collective goal achievement, task management and foster collaborative efforts.
