La Nise Hagan is a seasoned human resources executive and Chief Human Resources Officer known for leading workforce transformation and building high-performing, inclusive organizations. With a track record of scaling HR functions and partnering with executive leadership, she brings a strategic, forward-looking approach to aligning talent with business priorities and driving sustainable growth.
Throughout her career, La Nise has worked at the intersection of people, performance, and purpose—advising organizations through periods of change and helping to shape cultures that reflect both their values and the communities they serve.
Her connection to the arts began early. As a child, access to creative programs provided not only an outlet for expression, but a foundation for confidence, curiosity, and possibility. That experience continues to shape how she shows up today—as a leader, a parent, and an advocate for expanding access to the arts for others.
As Board Chair of the Phoenix Center for the Arts, La Nise brings both strategic leadership and personal commitment to the organization’s mission. She is passionate about ensuring that individuals of all backgrounds have access to creative spaces that inspire, empower, and connect communities.
Based in Atlanta, Georgia, La Nise is a mother of three and remains actively engaged in initiatives that support youth development, community enrichment, and the transformative power of the arts.
