Music classes at Phoenix Center for the Arts are available for all levels of interest and abilities. Throughout the year, students can choose from in-person or online classes in piano, ukulele, guitar and more. Instruments are provided for in-person piano and guitar classes.

Note: Click the “Sign Up” button at the bottom of a class description to register through the Center’s Mindbody registration platform. A Mindbody account is required to register for classes at the Center. Questions about registration or financial aid? Beginning Guitar for Adults

Description: My goal is to help beginner to intermediate guitar players learn techniques in a new and fun way that resonates with them personally. From sharing easy to learn famous riffs to basic guitar structure & chords, the plan is to help players achieve the dexterity and mind-set to grow as musicians. The ultimate goal is for students to also compose & craft their own musical art and to learn the Circle of Fifths & other approaches by the end of the course.

Materials: No materials required - will purchase Hal Leonard books for reimbursement

Prerequisite: No experience required
