Phoenix Center for the Arts proudly presents the Seventh Annual Mayor’s Arts Awards, “Art in the Park,” October 11, 2018, from 6:30-9:00pm in the Margaret T. Hance Park Urban Plaza. We hope you will join us for this exciting event celebrating our wonderful arts community here in Phoenix.
Weather and Dress:
This event will be held outside. Dress is artsy, but please be prepared for cool temperatures. This is a rain-or-shine event.
Parking:
Parking is free. Click here for a handy map! Once parked, you may walk through Hance Park towards the Urban Plaza, or hitch a ride on a golf cart shuttle from the Center.
Check In:
The event begins with a cocktail hour at 6:30pm. Please be sure to check in before 7:00pm, so that you don’t miss out on any of the delicious food or beverages.

About the Awards:
The Mayor’s Arts Awards serve to identify outstanding leaders; Dance Artist, Literary Artist, Music Artist, Theatre Artist, Visual Artist, Young Artist (age 12-17, also new!), and Innovative Arts Organization. Nominees are chosen based on the criteria of innovation, impact, and integration. In addition, we will choose one individual with the third annual “Lou and Evelyn Grubb Community Innovator Award.”
