Adventures in Art!

Parents, do you want to enjoy the First Friday experience but can’t find a good babysitter? Want to try exciting new foods at the food trucks, but have small, picky eaters to appease?
Family Fridays at Phoenix Center for the Arts is now a drop-off center for your young artists! While you peruse the galleries on Roosevelt or observe the students in our own open studios, your children (K-6th grade) will create art with adult supervision. Our Adventures in Art program is designed to be fun and interactive with different activities planned each month. Our November 1st event will explore the history and meaning behind Dia de Los Muertos with a guided skull painting activity.
Permission slip must be signed by an adult at drop-off.
Time: 6:00pm-9:00pm every first Friday
Place: Phoenix Center for the Arts; drop off in room 202
Cost: $5 per child for drop-off; $1 for activity without drop-off
