The mission of the Center’s creative wellness programs is to promote health and well-being specifically through the arts, with a focus on senior adults.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, senior populations make up about 13.3% of the American population equaling about 41.4 million Americans over the age of 65, with roughly 5 million of those 85 and older. This senior population is growing at the fastest rate in the United States, with a projected 70 million over the age of 65 by the year 2030.
