Board Member since April 2015
Angela has enjoyed having a front-row seat to the growth and evolution of Phoenix Center for the Arts during her board tenure. As a life-long arts enthusiast and advocate, Angela began her professional career as an Art Director in advertising. She has since progressed from advertising to brand management and now to innovation, where she enjoys working at the intersection of creativity, curiosity, and analytics.
Angela holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, an MA in Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin, and undergraduate degrees in Spanish and Studio Art from Georgetown University. Her favorite personal artwork to-date was her senior thesis project: a series of cyanotype portraits printed on silk and formed into masks. A Phoenix native, she is passionate about her community, and has had extended volunteer work with the City of Phoenix Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and the Arizona Animal Welfare League (AAWL) in addition to her time with PCA.
When not working or enjoying the arts, Angela can be found spoiling her dog-child Jasper, collecting passport stamps, and trading restaurant recommendations with local foodies.
Angela’s superpower: Empathy and repartee
