Phoenix Center for the Arts is proud to present American Renaissance 2.0, an exhibition by artist Nik Ridley, opening Friday, November 2, 2018, in the Larry Wilson Gallery. The opening takes place from 6:00pm to 9:00pm and is free to the public. The Larry Wilson Gallery is located within the Performing Arts Building at Phoenix Center for the Arts, 1202 N Third Street, Phoenix, AZ 85004.
American Renaissance 2.0 is an acknowledgment of the evolution of America, as we know it – celebrated through color and form. It is a vision rooted in the present, with its branches stretching towards a better tomorrow.
“This exhibit is the marriage between street art and abstract modernism – raw, colorful, fun, and provocative.” says featured artist, Nik Ridley. “I’m merely archiving the flux, the energy, the flow. I’m plugging in. Life is a mystery and I believe it to be limiting to try to place it in a certain context or theme. Life will unfold itself.”
